As mentors, we support, advise and guide by taking the time to get to know you and your professional challenges. We use our extensive experience and knowledge to help you develop your thinking, acting as a guide, a confidante and often as devil’s advocate to promote solution based thinking and outcomes. The relationship with one of our mentors is usually a long term one, it is personal and confidential in nature and is separate to the role a line manager.

Some of the most frequent situations that we get engaged to help with are:

  • When it’s lonely at the top – we provide an impartial and confidential sounding board
  • To transfer skills to savvy leaders looking to develop new expertise to maximise business performance
  • Inspiring leaders by setting goals and challenges to stretch and develop them
  • To hold business leaders to account and ensure they stay focussed on priorities
  • Acting a catalyst to improve thinking, innovation and problem solving by providing an external and fresh perspective
  • Creating and implementing internal skill share mentoring programmes to grow internal capability
  • Helping senior leaders to successfully navigate periods of organisational change
  • Opening the door to a wider network of business contacts

Ways to access mentoring

1-2-1 Mentoring

This is our favorite style of mentoring support, as it helps develop and maintain a strong and productive relationship. Typically we meet monthly, with dates agreed 3 months in advance to ensure time is properly reserved for a quality discussion. The agenda is flexible and always determined by your needs at any given point, venues are also varied – escaping from the office helps open the mind!

Holding regular meetings ensures structure and accountability for both parties and can be in a combination of face-to-face or online, once the relationship and levels of mutual trust are established.

Our costs depend your requirements and the duration and location of the meeting, we can spend a day working together or an hour on a call.

Red phonebooth

Mentoring on demand

Similar to our ‘In the Moment coaching’, we provide access to a check in service where you can access support on a more immediate basis if the situation demands. Sometimes all that is required is a 5-minute call to provide you with the reassurance you need.

Used in conjunction with the 1-2-1 insights, you buy an agreed quantity of time that can be utilised and called off as and when you need it (within reason, 3am calls might not be answered!).
